Official Policies
REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY: A valid debit card or credit card is required to guarantee and pay for your Energized Games Party Event. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for all parties or events canceled after payment is received. There will be a $100 cancellation fee for all parties or events canceled after payment is received and within 30 days of your scheduled event. NO REFUND in the event of a reservation being canceled within 14 days of your event. Energized Games will make every effort to postpone your event to another date should rescheduling be necessary.
RESCHEDULING FEE: Any event rescheduled for any other reason other than weather will have a $25 rescheduling fee assessed to the account.
FORMS OF PAYMENT: Master Card and Visa and American Express are accepted. Checks are acceptable, but must clear prior to the event. In order to secure your date a 50% deposit is required and the balance will be due the week of the event.
PRIVACY POLICY: Energized Games is committed to protecting your privacy. We will use the information that is collected on the site for reservation purposes ONLY. We strive to make your experience with Energized Games as simple as possible and will make every effort to enhance your overall experience with our company. We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
TRAVEL/FUEL SURCHARGE: A Fuel surcharge will apply for all locations in excess of 30 miles of zip code 33470. Please refer to the Current Price List for the exact charge.
LOCATION: The customer is required to provide a relatively flat, safe area for the Mobile Theater to park. Street fronts are preferable. Our truck and trailer combination is very long and we will need a minimum of 60 feet of space to park. That is approximately four cars parked bumper to bumper. If you do not have enough space, we recommend that you contact your local Church, Recreation Center or Park. You are responsible for us being able to get in and park as well as leaving. If excessive time is needed to leave your event an additional charge may be assessed. We will park on driveways only if we can do so safely.
SEVERE/INCLEMENT WEATHER: The Energized Games Theater was designed for all types of weather conditions. The theater is insulated and climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. There may be occasions when the weather does not cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather, (lightning, very high winds, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains) we reserve the right to reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your event and you are aware in advance, (pending or anticipated severe thunderstorm) please notify us to begin the rescheduling process. Very inclement weather may preclude the use of the outside (exterior) TV’s. The Laser Tag and Sumo equipment cannot be operated in the rain. If there is not an area to setup that is covered, rain will delay the play.
SUPERVISED CHILDREN: Although you are welcomed to, Energized Games does not require a parent to be present inside the trailer, although one must be available on the grounds if needed. However, children unable to follow direction must be accompanied by an adult. We will provide a knowledgeable Game Guru who will assist your child/children in making sure that their party is the party of the year!
ALCOHOL/DRUGS: Although alcohol is not prohibited, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or shut-down an event when the consumption of alcohol creates a disturbance. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around Energized Games equipment. Any observed use of illegal drugs/narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately and Law Enforcement being contacted.
SMOKING: Energized Games does not allow smoking in or around our mobile game theater. Please keep any smoking activity away from the theater.
DAMAGE/INJURY: Energized Games or any of its employees will not be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the theater in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage. Additionally, Energized Games reserves the right to charge the client’s credit card for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage the client and/or their guests. Energized Games or their staff will not assume responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.
FOOD/DRINK: Energized Games does not allow any food or drinks into the video game theater. Please have your guests consume them outside of the trailer prior to entering.
PICTURES: While your party is in effect the Game Guru will be taking pictures and video of the event. You will then be able to view these pictures and video on a slide-show we present at the end of the event. If you do not want our Game Guru taking these pictures or posting them on our FaceBook Page, please notify us via Email prior to the party. This is a service we provide to our guests so they can be sure to capture their party as it happens.
TIPS: The Game Guru is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He or she tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required.
VIDEO GAME RATINGS: Energized Games will not play any “M” rated or higher game in the video game theater without a request from the client prior to the party/event or adult approval at the time of the event. If you wish to have an “M” rated game or higher at your party/event please let the Game Guru know as soon as you can after he gets there. It is also recommended that all clients Email Energized Games with any specific game requests.
